Alyssa Dawn develops and implements restorative horticulture programs for people aged 3 to 103, engaging in nature-based activities that include observation of the sights and sounds of their surroundings — an experience of the senses.
While formally introduced to Therapeutic Horticulture in 2008, connecting people and plants has been the foundation of her studies and work. In rhythm of professional growth, Alyssa completed the Horticultural Therapy Professional Development Certificate and became a certified Garden Designer specializing in healing gardens.
A skilled guide to enjoying nature, by design.
“Sustainability and collaboration through community building, gardening and urban design elements that support healthy communities.”
